As the Champions League final started before the doors were open we were unsure of how the night would pan out.

JO started the evening of with her excellent but quite short set.

Liverpool went 3-0 down and Colin's mood 'Blackened' (pun intended!)
but he started the set brightly but slightly aggressively with an annoying break due to some hissing on stage caused by noisy Italian waiters - sorry that should be Feedback and interference from the lighting.

It was just about sorted as the same time as Liverpool's midfield took effect and as the 'Pool fought back to extra time between song iterludes were punctuated with ' Is there another goal'

Colin went to the Leaving song as the game went to penalties and as Liverpool succeeded we gave Colin the thumbs up message he was dying to hear and his guitar and vocals came alive with an invigorating final set culminating in the cheers for more and more encores - we ended (for only the second time on the tour with 'moon river' - Everyone went home happy aftef another great Black gig.

Two final thoughts -
1. What should I care about Liverpool as an Everton sesaon ticket holder?
2. Spare a thought for Colin & Jo having to share the car up to Scotland with Rob who will have the Engalnd v Bangladesh cricket test match commentary on ALL THE WAY!
