Saw Brian Wilson last night at the Summer pops in Liverpool

Absolutely awesome - one of the best gigs i've ever been to.
support was Ian Mcnabb (ex icicle works) who was great but when Brian & the fabulous wondermints band came on the place went wild.

From the opening Then I kissed her through to the final Love & Mercy I've never sung so much at a live concert in my life
they even did a beatles song - tell me why -

To hear Good vibrations , & God only knows sung live by the person who wrote such great music was an absolute privelidge.

It would be great to think of Colin /Black being around and playing to packed audiences when he's in his 60's - although with between 2 churches (which I think is one of the best tracks he has ever written) you never know....

PS - saw Andy williams as well last week (another for the youngsters - encored with Danny boy which apparently he sang at President Kennedy's funeral) -

They don't make em like they used to....with theb exception of KT Tunstall.
