Ooooooooohhhhhh What a night !?

Fantastic from start to finish... We got there early (thought it would take us 3hrs.. but it only took us 2&frac14;) Get into the Castle theatre.. which is a great place..btw. and the place was empty.. we decided to go and get a drink, and guess who was the only person in the bar.. !!?? YUP.. Colin.. having a cup of tea.. I will just add ;).. I introduced us, and he has said that his mum had told him we were coming, and he was expecting us.. :laugh: .

So we got our drinks ad sat down.. as not to bother him.. he took a phonecall, and then came over to our table and sat with us... woooohoo ! (happy bunny alert!) We chatted for about 10-15 mins before Rob came and said they were ready for him... (so was I at that point !! ;) ) I then sat for the hour before the gig started with a huuuge smile on my face !

When Colin came on (after the 2 supports) It was sheer bliss... I cant remember the exact playlist.. but he did start with You're a big girl now..and also (in no particular order...lol):-

He dedicated a song to us 'the Ryans' as we had travelled all the way from Liverpool, and to another couple of his friends that had trvelled from London.. That was just the icing on the cake !

Had another short chat outside with Colin afterwards, and had a couple more pics take with him.. ahh bliss !

Got home bout 1.45am.. tired.. but very very happy !! even hubby had great night.. we'll defo be seeing him again ASAP ! lol

It's nice to know that some dreams come true... even if they are not mine! Hehehe! Sounds like a great night out! My wife's family is from Wales and I left my heart in Scotland 10 years ago and we are planning a trip to the UK in the future and hope to time it so we can catch Colin in concert.

Glad you enjoyed the gig - my mate doug and i run it once a month at the castle and have a great time doing it. we were thrilled to get Colin to come and play and he and Rob didnt dissappoint - i've heard nothing but positive stuff from people about the performance since. We've had some brilliant nights there in the past but saturday was the first standing ovation the club has seen!
Big thanks to Colin and Rob for trusting a couple of chancers like ourselves to put the gig on and thanks to everyone who came and listened.
