Hello.

I'd like to get in touch with someone who could buy for me the new compilation only sold at 2007 tour concerts. I would be very grateful.

Thanks.

Best whishes from Spain.

I went to the Aberdeen gig on Wednesday (14th March 2007) and it was fantastic.

It was great to see Colin with an electric guitar in his hands for the majority of the concert. The 4 piece band were well rehearsed and brought a new feeling to a lot of the old songs and the new ones alike.

A brilliant evening and I want to thank Colin for doing this tour. I am sure that many of the Single Black Spot members will agree - we love seeing you live!

I went to the Edinburgh gig on 17th April and I must say it was a lot better than the Aberdeen one. The sound was better, the crowd was bigger and better and there was such a better atmosphere. Hey, that is not to say the Aberdeen one was bad, but it did suffer a bit in the acoustics.
Start at the beginning – this was the postponed concert from mid-March. No real reason was given for the postponement, but it was nearly postponed again! Colin & Co were late due to various road hold-ups. It was due to start at 8pm, but they were not onstage until 8:45pm. However, The Jam House does need to announce the bands because Black crept on stage and the first the crowd knew that they were there was Colin saying “Hello?”.
A girl next to me said “Who are they?”. “Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear, my dear, they are Black!”. “I’ve never heard of them. Will I know any of their songs” “Oh yes you will!” Obviously a Christians fan …
Then Black launched into “Everything’s Coming Up Roses” and a great sense of pride swarmed over me. Black really are fantastic live!
I was bit miffed by some of the crowd. I was positioned close to the bar to get a better view, and a bunch of four people started having a conversation through the songs. How rude can you get! This is Black! Stop talking! I moved away to the opposite side where there was much more appreciation for the genius that Colin is and much more respect for the band. Colin had the crowd in his hands and as the set progressed the crowd were getting louder and louder.
All too soon, the first strains of Water On Snow were sung and I know this was the last song. Colin did one of his best performances yet of it and then the concert was all over.
What was evident was that Colin really enjoyed that gig and so did I (funnily enough). With an hour and a half’s drive home, I headed off. Yeah, going to a gig just to see the support act? Why not, it was Black after all!
