a great, if somewhat short, set by Colin on Tuesday. The venue was just over half full I would say, which was a shame.
The setlist (from memory) was:
Everything Is Coming Up Roses
Come Out of The Rain
Sweetest Smile
Charlemagne
Cold Chicken Skin
Quinn's Old Flame
Her Coat and no Knickers
Wonderful Life
Water On Snow
The band was very tight, and Colin's voice simply superb, especially on Water on Snow, which was devastatingly beautiful.

This was a great gig, I also saw Colin a couple of years ago in Milton Keynes but the Derngate gig was much more upbeat - he really looked like he was enjoying it. It was great to see him on electric guitar instead of just acoustic. His voice is as amazing as ever.
