Colin is planning a new compilation of Black/Colin Vearncombe recordings from the last twenty years.

The album will be available as a download through this site (for a very special low price with the right discount code) and through iTunes, Amazon and CDBaby. We will also manufacture a CD in the same style as the Blackatalog and make that available for the collectors. A stereo CD can hold about 72 minutes of music so that’s probably going to mean 14 or 15 tracks (the live version of Water On Snow is 7m36s but it is very, very good)

It’s hard to decide which songs to put on the compilation so we asked the audience who attended the live recording sessions on the 29th and 30th of October 2010 to suggest their favourite tracks from all the recordings we own (i.e. excluding the A&M releases). However, they came up with 70 different songs so we’ve shortlisted the tracks with the most votes and now we’re asking you to help us find the most popular.
